In the world today, there are many temptations, however, as Christians we can show those around us how to act. For example, when you go to a movie theater you see all these movies, well go to the movies that are G rated because in pg 13 rated movies, there are probably profanity and violence and the same for R rated movies. Also, what you watch on television even though nobody might be watching you, do you think that our awesome God wants you to watch gory and violent and sexual shows or movies. The answer is simple...NO, God wants you to watch things that don't use profanity or violence and there are plenty of shows on television that are things God wants you to watch. Another example is how we act in public areas as well as private areas. When we are out in public, we should not use profanity or vandalize private or public property. Who knows, maybe a younger person might be watching you and that person will think, "oh, I should act like them." You might think that you don't have to act as kindly in private as you do in public because you think nobody is watching you, but you are wrong if you think that, GOD is watching you always, and God sees everything that you are doing, don't make your God upset because you have sinned because of watching bad things on television or whatever sin you have done. Lastly, we should pay serious attention to what we listen to on our Ipods, MP3 players, radios, cd players etc... I say this because God our Father does not want us listening to these songs that tell us to sin or tell about sin in the song. Instead of listening to bad music, listen to songs that you know don't have a bad message or bad words.
